The Dutch National Board for DNA-diagnostics is the coordinating body of the
DNA-diagnostic laboratories which are part of the Clinical Genetic Centres in The Netherlands.
The primary goal of the Dutch National Board for DNA-diagnostics is to ensure the availability
of a growing number of high quality diagnostic tests for heriditary and congenital disorders.
The Dutch National Board for DNA-diagnostics is embedded in an organisation which unites
genetic research, DNA-diagnostics, chromosome research, biochemical (enzyme) diagnostics
and genetic counselling.
The DNA-diagnostic laboratories have the exclusive right and permission to perform DNA-diagnostics
for heriditary diseases.
